Let me share my journey…

Being a mom to these two amazing creatures has stretched me beyond limits I didn’t even know I had. Motherhood has also forced me to make difficult decisions—decisions that, at the time, I made because of them. More and more every day, I see that those choices have helped all of us become happier.

Several months ago, I decided to get serious about my health—not for the superficial reason of simply wanting to be thin, but because I wanted to be present and active in my children’s lives. I wanted to play kickball with my babies, ride bikes with them, and enjoy those moments without becoming miserably winded. I wanted to capture memories with them on camera without being horrified by what I saw.

Life rarely moves in a straight line. It gives us curves that force us to adjust, make different choices, and create new ways to move forward. That is the heart of my Creativ3 Curv3 theory: the curve doesn’t have to be where your story ends. It can be where you discover another way through.

For me, one of those curves is learning to be seen. Sharing my thoughts, struggles, and progress publicly—for people I don’t know to find and read—is frightening. It means allowing myself to be visible before I have everything figured out or have reached the finish line. But maybe conquering that fear is part of becoming healthier too.

Let me share my journey….

I dug deep and tried a new healthy system. I began detoxing my body of junk and adding back the nutrients it needed. I incorporated greens that gave me the fruit and vegetable servings I needed in one packet a day. What?! Say it isn’t so—I don’t have to eat all the stuff I don’t like? LOL. Yup, it’s so, and I still get the benefits!

I’m learning that becoming healthy is about more than one product, one meal, or one trip to the gym. It requires a lifestyle change and a daily decision to take better care of myself. Like anything else in life, we may fall off—but the most important part is choosing to get back on.

With greens, healthier choices, and regular trips to the gym, I began to feel the difference. I lost 10 pounds during the first two weeks, had more energy, felt more focused, and noticed that I retained information better. Those changes gave me the encouragement I needed to keep going.

This journey isn’t about becoming perfect overnight. It’s about making one better decision at a time, finding the courage to be seen along the way, and remembering why I started. My children are worth the sacrifice, and so am I.

There will always be curves. My goal is to keep creating my way through them without losing the most important Curv3 I have—my smile.
